This summer, T. Mann Financial welcomed four university of Oregon students into our internship program. Shannon, Matthew, Teagan and Tyler each took on a real project, built it from the ground up, and presented their results at our capstone showcase.

Shannon built an AI exposure analysis tool grounded in careful, source-checked research.

Matthew built an internal tool that calculates the cost of synthetic box loans using derivative contracts.

Teagan built out our community partnerships program, connecting us with local organizations across Eugene-Springfield.

Tyler took on the widest range of challenges on the team and delivered, including the speed and accessibility improvements to the website you're on right now.

Which Internship Track is Right for You?
Welcome 2026 Summer Interns
Shannon recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Data Science and minors in Computer Science and Mathematics and will begin the Master of Finance program at UO this summer. Outside of academics, she enjoys hiking, skiing, running, and spending as much time outdoors in Oregon as possible with family and friends.
Teagan is a Data Science major at the University of Oregon with a focus in Marketing and minors in Computer Science and Business Analytics. She brings experience in financial reporting, analytics, content creation, and student leadership.
Matt is a third-year student at the University of Oregon studying Finance and Economics. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, he has a strong interest in financial and economic modeling, particularly in areas such as risk management, optimization, and statistical analysis.

Tyler is studying Computer Science and Data Science at the University of Oregon. He is also a member of the Oregon Quant Group, where he continues developing his analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
